Project Manager

  • Do you believe that a circular economy is the solution to cleaning up planet Earth from waste?
  • Have you ever wondered what happens to waste after it ends up in the trash bin?

At Azortum, we create waste sorting solutions that increase material recycling, reduce the amount of waste deposited in landfills, and lower carbon dioxide emissions caused by fossil fuels. This is an important mission, and we need your help as a Project Manager to make the world more sustainable.

Your job will be to lead and coordinate mechanical engineering projects, ensuring their timely and budget-compliant completion. As a project manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects from start to finish, including defining project scope, creating budgets, developing schedules, managing resources, and ensuring quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

Project initiation: Define project scope, goals, and key indicators in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.

Project planning: Develop a detailed project plan that includes a schedule, budget, resources, and a risk management plan.

Project execution: Guide and support the team in executing the project, ensuring all stages are carried out according to plan and quality standards.

Monitoring and control: Track project progress, prepare regular reports, and make adjustments as needed to achieve project goals.

Project closure: Ensure proper project closure, including final documentation, evaluation, and lessons learned analysis.

With us, you will work on international projects, contribute to a more sustainable future, and be involved in the implementation of complex and innovative technologies in waste management. Additionally, you will join a great team with top industry knowledge, work in a modern office on the top floor of the Talent City, enjoy cool team events, and have a supportive and accommodating manager.

We're looking for someone with a higher education degree in construction, mechanical engineering, or a related field. If you have previous experience in project management, especially in the construction or mechanical engineering sectors, we want to hear from you. Your excellent communication and leadership skills will be crucial, as well as your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You'll need to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with ease. Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other project management tools is essential. Plus, a good command of both spoken and written Estonian and English will set you up for success in this role. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!
